A certified coffee roaster is a roaster that opens markets for you. BrasCafè holds ISO 9001, BRC Food, FDA registration, CCPB organic, Kosher and FAIRTRADE - international standards that give you access to grocery retail, export, specialised retail and niche markets with no customs surprises.
ISO 9001
The international standard for process quality, from green coffee selection through to packing. In place since 2009: fifteen years of uninterrupted quality management.
BRC Food
The global food safety standard required by major chains. In place since 2016: the requirement for reaching Italian and international grocery retail shelves.
FDA Registration
The Food and Drug Administration is the gateway to the US market: an FDA-registered facility lets you export coffee without customs holds.
CCPB Certification:
CCPB organic certification guarantees a supply chain free from synthetic chemicals, from origin to pack. It opens specialised retail, organic e-commerce and premium grocery retail.
Kosher Certification
Reach observant Jewish markets in Europe, the United States and Israel. A small but loyal niche, where certification is not a preference but a requirement.
Before taste, your customers need safety. That is why we apply HACCP protocols at every critical point of the supply chain: from the arrival of green coffee at the ports of Trieste, Genoa and Naples through to packing.
Every batch is traced individually. What that means for you: a consistently compliant product, a protected reputation, an audit passed. This is how a certified coffee roaster works: ISO 9001 since 2009, BRC Food since 2016..

Yes. BRC Food is the global standard required by international large-scale retail and allows us to be listed directly with grocery retail chains across Europe, the UK and the Middle East. For the United States, FDA registration is the document required for customs clearance; for kosher markets we cover observance with the dedicated certification. We provide complete supply chain documentation for every batch exported.
We work on dedicated shifts and physically separate lines. We apply a documented sanitisation protocol (machine washdown, gasket changes where necessary, a purge run with a discard batch) and a line stand-by period. The rabbi for kosher and the CCPB inspector for organic supervise production.
